Objective of CSE
With Global Excellence, National Relevance and Industry preference as prime motto, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering fosters greater learning experience by providing a broader scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications.
The department has been consistently fulfilling its role by transforming students into technically competent, socially responsible and ethically professional graduates.
The curriculum reflects the depth and scale of computer science. Much emphasis is laid on the particle understanding of the technology. They are trained in critical areas like programming, networking, web systems, information management and Human computer Interaction.
Students are given a broad technical understanding of current and emerging technologies in the IT field. They are also introduced to systems engineering concepts.
Well-equipped class rooms, well networked Lab setups with latest software, Industry- Integrated projects, creative teaching-learning process, and research based activities in the emerging areas, impressive placements, certification courses make the department well advanced on the professional front.
- To prepare graduates to handle computer software and hardware oriented projects for the industry.
- To develop excellence in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
- To develop Research activity in the department.
The Graduation in Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology has been started in 2001 with strength of 60 students for each course. Now the strength increased to 120 students in CSE.
We have 33 faculty in our department with good experience and designations.
Post Graduate Programme M.Tech
Computer Science engineering Has been started in 2009 with strength of 18 students and extended to 24 students.
In the year of 2010, we introduced Software Engineering & Computer Science.
We have 10 Class Rooms, with well equipped infrastructure. Every class room is provided with Projector and UPS.
Well networked Lab was setup with latest softwares, Industry- Integrated projects, creative teaching-learning process with open source software’s and Licensed software’s like.
We are providing training to the B.Tech and M.Tech students on several Technologies like
- BOSS MOOL
- MOOC’s Classes and E-Learning classes.
CSE Department supports NSS Programmes and involved in Blood Bank, Swatch Bharat and Several Awareness Programmes.
We have NCC unit in our college and our Students participated in several occasions at District, State and National Levels parades.
Our department students participated in sports, events at District, State and National Levels and stood first in athletics and games.
Our department students got placed in MNC’s Companies like
- TECH MANINDRA
- Indian Defence services.
Seminars and Workshops
Our department conducts seminars and workshops and helps in publications.
Our dept staff and students participated and presented international and national seminars, conferences and published papers and journals.
Our dept staff and students attended advanced technologies workshops.
We depute students to internships and industrial visits to acquire knowledge. We expose our students to latest technology and make them interact with the industrial experts.In every semester our students maintained good academic record and got certificated with good percentage in end exams.
